In fact, this release is big enough that I’m just going to pretend that we’ve never met before and re-introduce SCVNGR.

Well, hello there! Thanks for swinging by our blag!
Let me tell you a little bit about SCVNGR:
SCVNGR is a game about going places, doing challenges and earning points, right from your mobile phone.
You visit a place and are presented with a list of challenges. One might ask you just to check-in for one point, or to take a photo for two. Another might challenge you to solve a riddle to earn three points and yet a fourth to make an origami sculpture out of your tin-foil burrito wrapper!
You pick a challenge and do it. You’ll earn points, start unlocking badges, share your activity with your friends and play on. As you visit your favorite places more and more often, you’ll unlock extra functionality like being able to add your own challenges for your friends to do!
What’s so cool about this is that it’s the next step for us in trying to build the game layer on top of the world. Now anyone can play SCVNGR, anywhere and can build it with us by adding their own challenges at their favorite spots!
So, download the iPhone and Android apps then get out there and start playing!
